Rhinovirus

• The Rhinovirus is the most common viral infectious agent in humans and is the predominant cause of the common cold.
• Rhinovirus infection proliferates in temperatures between 33–35 °C, the temperatures found in the nose.

Adenovirus

• Adenoviruses are a group of viruses that can infect the membranes (tissue linings) of the respiratory tract, eyes, intestines, urinary tract, and nervous system.
• They account for about 10% of fever-related illnesses.

Enterovirus

• Enterovirus-68 is a viral infection that may cause cold-like symptoms or severe respiratory infection.
• Enteroviruses are named by their transmission-route through the intestine.

Human metapneumovirus A/B

• Human metapneumovirus is a respiratory virus that causes an upper respiratory infection (a cold).
• It usually occurs in the winter and early spring, along with the "flu" season.

Influenza

• Influenza is a viral infection that attacks your respiratory system, your nose, throat and lungs.
•Influenza is commonly called the flu.

Parainfluenza 

• Human parainfluenza viruses commonly cause respiratory illnesses in infants and young children. But anyone can get HPIV illness.
• Symptoms may include fever, runny nose, and cough. 

Coronavirus

• Coronavirus is a kind of common virus that causes an infection in your nose, sinuses, or upper throat.

Respiratory Syncytial Virus

• Respiratory syncytial virus is a common respiratory virus that usually causes mild, cold-like symptoms.
• RSV is the most common cause of bronchiolitis (inflammation of the small airway in the lung) and pneumonia (infection of the lungs) in children younger than 1 year of age in the United States. It is also a significant cause of respiratory illness in older adults.

Bocavirus

• Human bocavirus is a parvovirus that has been suggested to cause human disease.
• It is a probable cause of lower respiratory tract infections and it has been linked to gastroenteritis.

Parechovirus

• Parechovirus is a virus that usually has very mild symptoms or none at all.
• Sometimes it can cause serious illness in babies and young children.
